Before the ProcedureWho can get these procedures done? If any of these apply to you, you CANNOT receive any of these treatments: Under 18 Pregnant or breastfeeding Diabetic Epilepsy Currently on blood thinners (Aspirin, fish oil, etc.) Skin irritations (rashes, sunburn, acne) around the treated area Major heart conditions Not feeling well (cold, flu, COVID) Active cancer patient and undergoing chemotherapy Received botox in the past 2 months Taken Accutane in the past year, HIV Hepatitis Which procedure is best suited for me? We can set up a FaceTime or an in-person consultation to go over all of our options and assess your brow and skin needs. I have very sensitive skin and I have allergies, what can happen if I get the procedure done? We may perform a patch test, where we make a little cut with a micro blade behind the ear near the hairline, we will implant ink and numbing gel we use, then we will wait for 2 days. If you do have a reaction (rashes, itchiness), we may not be able to proceed. I have my brows tattooed and I don’t like the shape anymore, can you help me? This depends on how faded the old tattoo is and what the shape looks like. You have to send your pictures of your bare brows or set up a consultation first. We will need to examine you to see if there’s any scar tissues, whether the brows are even or not. With any old tattoo, we have to do a correction, which require more time to reshape and color correct the old tattoo, and it’s $100 extra on top of the initial procedure. Depending on the severity of darkness and the shape, some previous works will need a saline removal, which we also offer in the studio. How do we choose which brow procedure is best for me? We will evaluate your skin type (dry, normal, or oily skin) while discussing about your brow goals. How do we pick the color? For brows, we are going to swatch some colors, from dark to to light brown, on your forehead. We choose the color that is the closest to your natural brow hair and the roots of your hair, we also need to consider your skin tone and personal preference. For lips, you will bring your favorite lipstick color or a reference picture, we will try our best to match it to that. We also need to consider your undertone and skin tone. We will swatch these colors and you will get to pick which one is the best one. How do we pick the shape? We will choose the shape together. I will create a desirable shape based on your needs while maintaining as much hair as possible into the new shape. Before we proceed, measurements are taken to ensure symmetry and positioning. How long do they last? What if I don't come back for touch ups? If you maintain them well, they can last up to a couple of year. Yearly touch ups are recommended to maintain the desired color and shape. Longevity is vary for everyone, depending on skincare, lifestyle, medications, skin conditions. If you stop coming back for touch ups, the brows will fade eventually into a lighter color.

On Appointment DayHow long is the procedure? Overall, it takes about 3 hours. Mapping itself will take about 1 hour because I want to take the time perfecting the desirable shape that you and I agree on, then for the remaining time, it is going to be for numbing, picking color, and creating the brows of your dream. Does it hurt? It varies for people as everyone has different pain tolerance. We do apply topical anesthetic to make you more comfortable. From past experience, some clients feel more on one side, some would feel nothing that they fall asleep. If you are on your menstrual cycle, it is recommended to book your appointment around this time. Earphones are recommended as well to help distract you. Can you walk me through the process? This is a 2-step process, where we do the first initial procedure and the touch-up session is 6-8 weeks after. What you can expect on the day of the procedure: We will have you to fill out a waiver form For insurance and advertisement, we will take before and after pictures and videos (you may have the option to post and tag, post and not tag, or not post at all) We will start mapping and shaping your brows. Normally this step is the longest part of your session. Please keep in mind, that nothing in this world is completely symmetrical, brows are sisters and twins. Once the drawing is finished, you will get to see it, and at this point, we still be able to change the shape (whether to make them thicker or thinner, more arched or less arched). After you approve of the shape, we will get started on the pre-numbing. While you sit in the numbing, we will pick the color. We then get started on implanting the pigment. When we're done with the tattooing process, we will explain to you the aftercare with you. Take after pictures and videos, schedule your touch up appointment, and check you out. What will they look like after the procedure? After the procedure, your brows will look very dark, swollen, and pigmented. Some clients with sensitive skin, will have the brows swollen and red around the brows but redness will subside in a couple of days. Do you shave off my brow hair? We don't shave your brows completely. We only clean up the hair outside of the new brow shape. We want you to come in with as much brow hair as possible so we will have more room to work with. Do you have any discounts? The only "discounts" we have is if someone refer you to us or if you refer someone and they book their appointment with us, it will be $20 off per referral. Then after your first initial appointment, if you write an honest review on any of our social media, it will be $10 off your touch up session.

After the ProcedureCan I still put makeup on it? For Brows: You may put on makeup on the brows after they are healed. Some clients, if they like their brows to look fuller, brow gel will help achieve the fuller, laminated look. For Lips: You may put lipstick and lip liner if you are doing a full face makeup, and lip gloss if you just want to enhance the natural color of your lip blush. Can I exercise after I get my eyebrows done? You may exercise but please do not do any heavy exercising and keep the sweating to a minimum. Clean your brows and dry while it is still healing. Can we change the color and/or shape if I don’t like it after? This procedure is a semi permanent procedure where we implant the ink into the layer above the skin (dermis), this will allow me to have some room to change the color and shape to some degree. To avoid the situation where you don't like the end result, I will work closely with you, discuss the options until we both agree on the shape and color. If you still end up not liking your brows after, touch up appointment can be cancelled and the brows will be fading overtime. Henna brows is a more temporary option that you can do if you are not 100% sure that you will benefit from this procedure. Is touch up mandatory? Touch up is not mandatory, but it is still highly recommended because these procedures are a 2-steps process where we can fix any patchy areas, if you want to go darker/more pigmented color or thicker (for brows), we can do these at the touch ups. Especially for lips, since we are dealing with the mouth, where you cannot stop eating, drinking, brushing your teeth, etc. This is why touch up is recommended. Some people may need more than two sessions to achieve their dream brows, due to improper pre-care and/or aftercare, skin texture and type, etc. How long is the healing process? For Brows: The healing process is about 2 weeks. In the next couple of days after the procedure, the brows will look swollen and very dark. Then scabs are starting to form, when the scabs are coming off, the brows will appear light, but in the next couple of weeks, the color will come back. You may expect the brows to shrink, lighten, and soften about 30-40%. For Lips: The healing process is about 1 week. In the next couple of days, the lips will still be swollen and very pigmented. Then scabs are starting to form, when the scabs are coming off, the lips will appear light, but in the next couple of days, the color will come back. You may You may expect the brows to shrink, lighten, and soften about 40-50%. Can you guarantee your work? Unfortunately I cannot. People skins have different reaction to the procedure and there are some other factors that need to be taken into account, such as skin type, age, diet, skincare products, etc. This is why it is important to understand that more than one touch up session may be needed. I will take into account your specific needs and preferences in order to provide you with the best possible service. I can guarantee that I will try our best to make you happy and satisfied every time. But there are no guarantees in this industry. Please think long and hard before you decide to go for it.
